Who holds your data

What we store
1. Your sign-in identity
When you sign in with a one-time code, we create an account record holding the phone number or email address you signed in with, your name if you gave one, your account role, and when the account was created or last updated. One-time codes are delivered by WhatsApp, SMS, or email through our messaging providers. We store only a one-way hash of each code — never the code itself.
2. Your orders and invoices
If you request a quote or place an order, we keep the order (number, status, value, notes, and its lines), its delivery events, and any invoice raised against it. These records are linked to your account so you can see them in the app and on tanwrk.com.
3. Sensor readings
If you connect a field sensor, we store the reading itself: the device serial, the metric and its value and unit, and the time it was recorded. A reading carries no personal data — it is not attached to your name, phone, or email.
4. What is never on a public passport
Every Tanwrk product has a digital passport that anyone can open by scanning its QR or NFC tag. That passport shows product, batch, material, certification, and traceability data. It never shows your phone number, email address, or name.
How long we keep it
Account records are kept while your account exists. Deleting your account removes your sign-in identity immediately. Order and invoice records are retained after deletion for accounting and warranty purposes. [OPERATOR TO CONFIRM: the retention period for order and invoice records.]
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the Tanwrk app (Account → Delete account) or from tanwrk.com/account/delete. Deleting removes the phone number or email we use to sign you in, along with your name and any pending one-time codes. Your order and invoice records are kept, as described above; they simply stop being linked to a sign-in identity.
